MANTORVILLE, MINNESOTA

HISTORY OF THE EVENT /

Originally started as a flower show encouraging residents to plant marigolds across the Mantorville community—with early backing from Marigold Dairies (now Kemps Dairy Foods) of Rochester, Minnesota—the event has since grown into one of the region’s most recognized and well-attended annual festivals.

DIRECTIONS/

From Minneapolis/St. Paul — Go approximately 35 miles south from the Concord Blvd/Highway 52 interchange. Turn right (south) at Hader on Minnesota 57. It is about 21 miles to Mantorville.

From Owatonna/Mankato — Go east on Highway 14 to Kasson, then 3 miles north on Minnesota 57 to Mantorville.

From Rochester — Go 14 miles west on Highway 14 to Kasson, then 3 miles north on Minnesota 57 to Mantorville.
